They were honest about the situation, provided bottled water and kept guests up to date with the situation which was resolved by the next morning. “The views, hotel is set on the cliff looking over the bay. Hotel was really very old and unique. Staff were very nice and helpful. We stayed in an annex a short winding path through the lovely gardens We had breakfast everyday and dinner twice in the hotel all lovely would recommend eating in.”

“We booked one of the nicer rooms. It seemed like a renovation project had been started but not finished. Half the wooden floor had been sanded and in places patched, the rest was stained. Shower was a clunky 70’s spa tub which ran hot and cold without any changes to the lever. Cupboard with glass doors was missing glass in one of them. Exterior of the hotel looked run down.
