“My mother and I came for a night and we were delighted with the lovely rooms. My mother chose the room with a bathroom that had a grabrail and a chair to sit on and it suited her well. The rooms were cosy and warm. The breakfast was a "help yourself" affair with cereal, yoghurts, brioche and croissants which you took to your room to eat. Milk and juices were in the fridge. “Had a fantastic stay at The Slate. Staff are excellent and very handy having the restaurant and bar downstairs after a long day travelling. Note that rooms are on first floor up a staircase, no lift. Well appointed and cosy room with modern bathroom amenities. Would definitely stay again.”
