Great hotel which is pet friendly and so close to the port which is perfect for early / late crossings. David was lovely and so accommodating. Cheap and cheerful, and comfy bed to rest your head! Only request is needs a little updating
We had a lovely stay here…booked very last minute and arrived with a lovely welcome. The room was very clean and warm and we had a beautiful view of the inland sea and mountains beyond.
The bed was really comfy. They were very welcoming of our 2 dogs. We had a drink in the bar before walking into trearddur for dinner. The walk was very pleasant and is only 1.5 miles.
There was a little room with a basic continental breakfast, just a nice little addition.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, yea it’s a bit dated and the shower was a bit temperamental but other than that I can’t fault it at all!
Good price, the room was clean and was checked and cleaned every day with clean towels and the condiments replenished. Nice big room and comfortable bed.

Clean comfortable quiet room and bathroom although tired was spotless too with plenty hot water. Very convenient for white eagle at rhoscolyn a half hour walk away
One night stay on way to ferry port. Very convenient and makes more sense than catching the 0240 option. Got a good nights sleep before continuing journey.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the Continental breakfast was adequate. Out of 25 rooms, only about 3 were occupied, there was no restaurant service, and it felt as if the hotel was "winding down".
Rooms only available with breakfast self service which was more than enough
My room was delightful with stunning views from a corner bay window
Very relaxing and comfortable stay
We had a great nights stay here. Please don’t be put off by some of the reviews. The room was clean and spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows! It’s a great base to explore the local area. The host was very friendly and the bar was perfect for grabbing a drink and sitting outside in the sunshine with it.
On the site said check in at 3 pm then got there and said check in at 4 no restaurant or bar open had to go to get food elsewhere other than that room comfortable and no more complaints

My mother and I came for a night and we were delighted with the lovely rooms. My mother chose the room with a bathroom that had a grabrail and a chair to sit on and it suited her well. The rooms were cosy and warm. The breakfast was a "help yourself" affair with cereal, yoghurts, brioche and croissants which you took to your room to eat. Milk and juices were in the fridge. A toaster would be a good addition with honey and jam but we were fine. There is no evening meal available here at the moment but we were given a list of places to eat nearby which was helpful. All in all, it was clean, warm, and the rooms were very nice. Thank you.
We were delayed due to car trouble well beyond the check-in timeframe. The hotelier was understanding and supportive resulting in a swift check-in and well needed night’s sleep.

Lovely view in our room. The building is old but room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is not continental but it's ok (cereals, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice...) There isnt much to do around the area so I would say it's ok for a overnight stay.

Basic Clean Accommodation
Overall good stay but basic accommodation. The breakfast was continental which was in a refrigerator downstairs so we had to bring it back to eat in our room which was upstairs
this could be difficult for some people. A good base to explore the surrounding areas at a fair price.
Stayed here one night enroute to Dublin. Checked in after 21.30 when there was no staff present. Easy enough as they left a note for us outlining the codes and to do's. Clean, spacious rooms with lake view. Breakfast can be found at the bottom of the stairs which is cereals, croissants and yogurts.
10 minutes drive from here to Holyhead ferry port. Clean roo
