The staff were very welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, tidy & light. Plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water & biscuits, which were replenish daily. It was ideal having the pub attached as we did not have far to travel for a meal & drink. The food was delicious, fresh & plenty to choose from. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of cereal, bread, yoghurts, tea & coffee. The booked breakfast was cooked to order & cooked fresh, it was delicious. I would highly recommended this Hotel for comfort, value for money, cleanliness & friendly staff. Well done Valley Hotel, we will be back.

A lot of dust in the room. Appeared clean on first look, but around the headboard, light fittings and curtains it was thick with dust. Nothing a good hoover wouldn’t fix. Very convenient for the Holyhead ferry with places to eat opposite. Would have eaten in the bar, but the chef that night couldn't cater for our dietary requirements despite the menu listing items we could eat. The head chef at breakfast had no issues and provided a great breakfast.

Rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful on suite bathroom. Staff very good and breakfast freshly cooked and not from a hot plate. Plenty of takeaways nearby but we are in and it was excellent. Only thing I could say against the Valley was nobody on reception. Road noise was also loud but didn’t really bother us too much. All in all an excellent stay and will be using again as a stop over before catching the ferry to Dublin. Well done The Valley and staff.

The hotel has a lovely restaurant & bar but the hotel side itself is like entering a 1980s time warp! The room was clean,the bed comfy & food in the restaurant was nice (when they were actually serving) but that is where the compliments end. The windows let in an awful lot of noise from the crossroads outside (our dogs never settled properly). The TV remote needed new batteries or something, as it failed to do much other than turn the tv on. The carpets were all dingey. The bathroom looked tired. Breakfast was a trial. Not many options for anyone with a restricted diet like my lactose intolerance. Thankfully the 1 member of staff who was good sorted my cooked breakfast! Unfortunately Cameron wasn't there on other days. Our last morning was terrible. After 20 mins of no one coming to take our order, after asking someone did quickly appear with a notepad. Order taken .....30 mins passed. On asking the whereabouts of our food, it turned out the order had been "lost" - so gave them 10mins to fulfill the requirements - we needed to check out. Food arrived in 10mins but it was not what we ordered. Really!?! All in all a disappointing stay, would not recommend.
