“One option for dining we used, Top Notch Burger, good food, good drink. Hotel is a little dated however the ocean view rooms are a must as you have a great view of the Nanaimo Hrbr. Parking can be a challenge, just remember to ask about the overflow parking lot when checking in. “Room was disgusting, smelled of strong mold odor with mold stains on the ceiling, dirty carpet (sticky) and chair should have been in the landfill years ago. Also, there is a burn scar on the front of the hotel caused by a car fire (suspected arson) in early June 2026. Since my stay there was in Late July, early August 2026 and nothing repaired, it is indicative of the poor management.
