The Wessex Inn is well located on Cowichan Bay and very affordable compared to other properties. We experienced excellent service and found the remodelled room (with a king bed and kitchen facilities) clean and comfortable. The view of the bay from our balcony was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was Reno’s recently and so beautiful! Nice touches like heated mirrors in the bathroom, tons of hygiene products, soft close cabinets, great design, and ocean view! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I texted everyone I know that stays on the island to tell them about it. Would definitely stay again!

Great staff and very helpful and as a little bonus they have a little fridge with free pops and water for your stay. The rooms were pretty clean. Nice little hot plate and kitchen in the suit. Beautiful ocean view from the patio and easy parking for our motorcycles. Felt safe, clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for the lovely accommodations.
