“Do not stay at this Hotel. I had to fly urgently for family matters, from Barcelona, so a long haul flight in an aerial sardine can, the reviews for the View were good and the location was convenient. I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances. There was no double or triple glazing so it felt like I was sleeping by traffic lights (the fact was sleep was impossible). The room should have been used as a storeroom, but yet, $180...

“The room was nice and clean. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. It's a shame there was no breakfast. A lot of Chinese takeout within walking distance. Petrol station across the road. Parking right in front of the room.”

“Not in the prettiest area of Brisbane, but so close to its airport it is an excellent option when taking an early flight, so it was the second time I booked it for this reason + the parking + the modern decoration + the same nice and helpful girl at the reception! In addition to the Kingsford's there are also a couple of good breakfast restaurants a block away, which I couldn't go to this time. The nearby gas station to fill the tank of a rental car is also a welcome addition...”

“The room was large, clean, and the bathroom was clearly not too old. Reception was fine (accessed up a step which may be a problem for some). There's still signage and I think promotion about a airport shuttle service, but they no longer offer that. I used an uber from the airport ($29) and back to it ($16). Though the location is all about the airport, the hotel is walkable to the river ferry, and walkable to Eat Street Northshore and Bluey's World if you are mobile and not lazy. All in all,...
