“Very pleasant place to stay.”

“Check in was super quick and the staff are polite and friendly. Room was ok. Fridge came in handy, and we spotted an iron with a small ironing board. Also tea/coffee making facilities. I suspect the room could get warm, but there was a fan there, which we didn't need. The double glazed window in room 3, opens a bit, but the old sash windows behind it don't open. “Wifi didn't work at my room at all, nice hotel with very good restaurant but nowadays good WIFI quality is a must, in a business trip very needed. Personally I found the mattress too soft.”

“The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. ”

“Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...
