“The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! “Es un hotel típico japonés , la comida deliciosas y además con la llave q te dan puedes ir a todos los onsen del pueblo. Independientemente de eso, todo el personal fue súper amable, unos hablaban más inglés q otros pero fueron muy pacientes con nuestro poco japonés y nos enseñaron nuevas palabras. Fue un fin de semana de castañas, relax y snow monkeys :)”

“Wow! This place ‘Kamei no yu’ was spectacular. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. The lobby area looks out onto a little garden. The room we were put in ‘ Mizubashou’ was large enough for our family of four. Little treats provided everywhere. The famous bath ‘Momoyama’ was up the road in Yudanaka Onsen. It was wonderful to get into the yokatas provided and use the onsen in another location. And you don’t want to miss using and seeing the Momoyama bath as the place is amazing! Dinner...
