“We loved our stay here for our first trip to Alaska! Chris met us there when we arrived late into the evening due to flight issues. The place was very accommodating and beautiful with a beautiful view! We saw moose and calves every night. One evening a bear came to visit while we were in the hot tub. “Property was beautiful and private. Really felt like home for a week. Kitchen was fully available and helped us save some money by cooking at home. Bed and shower were comfortable. No air conditioning, but cracking the windows helped and it cooled down plenty at night. Heater worked well when it was cold enough to turn on. “The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. “Jana& Mikes cabin was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and they had a nice big stand up tile shower with a ceiling rain head. Kitchen had everything basic you need. There was a coffee maker , kettle, tea and filters. We really appreciated the washer and dryer. There were 4 Adirondack chairs where you could sit out and enjoy the beautiful wooded area. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend their cabin.”
