We stayed here as a quick overnight stay while traveling on the Alaska Railroad. It is just a short walk from the train depot. It’s an older property but room was clean and comfortable for one night.

Great for a last-minute overnight stay! The customer service was excellent and the staff were very helpful, especially with getting us checked into the suite we had requested prior to arrival. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a very unpleasant sewer-like smell in the foyer, which was definitely noticeable. Aside from that, the amenities were great and the kids had a wonderful time in the pool. Overall, it worked well for a quick overnight stay, and we really appreciated the friendly and helpful service.

Location is down a steep hill from downtown Anchorage. Near the train station, which is convenient,when riding the train. The train horn goes off all night and day and is quite loud. The continental breakfast is good. Was OK for the price.

This hotel is old, super dirty, and smells awful (smells like wet dog and mold combined). When I got to the assigned room, I went back down right away to the front desk to checkout—that’s how bad this hotel is. The only positive about this hotel is the young lady at the front desk (I think her name was Prim). She was very friendly and apologetic. It’s also next door to the homeless encampment.

It was as expected. Relatively inexpensive and convenient to the train station. But it’s outdated, grungy, and there were bugs coming through a hole in the wall beside the tub. I knew what I was signing up for for a day and a half stay where I didn’t spend much time in the room.

It is older and run down. Our window had broken glass, the fridge froze our food, there was mold growing in the ceiling in the bathroom. It was way overpriced for the condition of the property. The staff was very friendly.

Staff was very helpful. Location was ideal for getting to the train station early in the morning. Expect some delays with the shuttle service as they have one shuttle for two properties so some waiting was involved. Getting there on the shuttle from the airport was a big delay - about an hour and a half wait which was frustrating. If you’re travelling in a smaller group though there are plenty of taxis available for a reasonable price.

The room was pretty clean. We got their and the toilet was clogged. We told the front desk and they gave us a plunger to go unclog it which was pretty gross. Train goes by at odd hours in the night. Good stay for what we needed, which was a single night and to catch an early morning plane. I would not have wanted to stay longer than that.
