Very nice location. Room is cozy and clean. Common area is a nice living room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Light breakfast is also very nice and helpful. A good place to stay.

We had a great stay at the Ski Inn. Location was fantastic and the unit was clean and cute. Small but perfect for a quick stay in Girdwood. The common area was well equipped and a nice hangout stop where we met some other folks traveling through. Pretzel bagel was YUM! We really enjoyed it here and would stay again.

Generally a good stay, however, we needed to wash our dishes prior to use. The kitchen seemed largely neglected. The common area and snacks, etc. were very nice, the bathroom and bedroom area were comfortable and nice. We stayed in the Glacier View Apartment - which is some 30 steps up, so be aware!

This was a great location for us for an over-night and it is in a beautiful area. Great breakfast food options. We really just slept there (and that was fine) but we were a bit disappointed that the bathroom (that we shared with 4 other rooms - kind of surprised that there were 4!) had no hot water!

Our room was cozy, the bathroom was roomy. It's a staff free environment and they keep a fridge filled with some nice snacks and drinks for guests as well as coffee etc. The beds were comfortable and the place was relatively quiet. Our only issue was keeping the room cool enough during the night, though it was likely the hottest time of the year

Self check-in, easy to do. There is a fun gathering area with well staffed refrigerator and coffee bar for breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere. We stayed twice at Ski Inn in the course of two weeks. We really enjoyed both stays There’s a wonderful grocery and a excellent food establishment across the street. Thick bath towels are such a treat!!! Enjoyed our stay.

I like everything about this place. It has a homey feel to it. There’s a restaurant and pub at walking distance. Karen I hope I got her name right is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was super comfy. The snacks provided is very much appreciated. Will definitely come back to this place.

I gave Ski Inn 5 stars because it was a fabulous stay and me and my hubby enjoyed everything about ourstay. The faucility is not 5 star, but the experience was. Clean rooms, comfy bed, gathering room was well stocked and clean, the atmosphere was friendly and best of all, iy was welcoming. We're going back to Ski Inn on our return to Anchorage airport. The only downside would be, it's not handicap friendly. This is not a hit against, but maybe it should be noted. We are 76 and 78, in good health, no problem for us. We enjoyed the Girwood Forest Fair. BEAUTIFUL area!

The Ski View Room (#3) was a little tight for 2 adults and all our gear, but conveniently located near the entrance on the ground floor. If I visit again, I might consider a slightly larger room like the Park View.

The hotel was cute and in a good location. Rooms are small. It was an easy walk to the brewery for dinner, and there was a decent coffee shop within walking distance. When we first arrived (around 5pm), we saw there was a nice communal area that was stocked with some goodies. Bagels, fruit, string cheese, coffee creamer (refrigerated), a coffee maker with pods for coffee, ect. In the morning, when we went to leave, all the bagels were gone, the coffee creamer was empty and no additional condiments for the coffee. No sugar or dry creamer. There were no spoons for the yogurts they provided. It was disappointing to look forward to the area for the morning and then find that it was actually missing so much. We could see people cleaning rooms so I am wondering why they wouldn't stock all of this first thing in the morning. And the room wasn't cheap so that little area was a nice surprise but ended up being a disappointment.

After having cleaned my own B&B for 17 years, there were some things at Ski Inn that needed slight attention. There was a used tissue in the floor near the door, the waste basket had not been emptied before my arrival, and there was something else resembling a piece of granola on the floor. They could have had a dog in there, and maybe it was dog food. I know how hard it is to turn a room over after only one night. The staff was very helpful at checking me in. That was excellent!
