This motel is nothing to look at, so it was a nice surprise to have a clean, well equipped room. It was quiet and not far from the highway. We liked being out of town with opportunities to sightsee in either direction. Would definitely stay there again.

This is the most perfect place to stay for a quick night's sleep before heading to Homer. Beds are comfortable and I especially enjoyed drinking coffee out of a ceramic mug. Repeat traveler that appreciates the cost of a good night's rest.

Don’t let the “Bates Motel” vibe scare you off. Rooms are clean with everything you need, including ice. Quiet, comfortable beds, clean rooms and the price is incredible for the location. Stayed here 3 times now !

This is a great place to stay for a night or two, especially if you are skiing in Girdwood. Liked having microwave and fridge in room. There are no dishes in room so bring microwave foods. Could use a light above mirrow. Otherwise was very clean and convenient. We would stay here again

This is an excellent little Motel. They communicate through text message but answer quickly. It was clean and well taken care of. Would have no hesitation to stay here again. Great little spot that was more reasonable than Anchorage or Girdwood.

The motel is basic but that’s all I need as I spend a lot outdoors just need a place to sleep. The bed is very comfortable and the dark black out curtains makes the room dark enough to get a good rest. I appreciate the warm/ hot shower for my aching muscles after hiking. It has microwave, tea/ coffee maker and selection of teas and coffee. I will definitely come again when I go back here in Alaska

I loved the check in process. Just text them they assign you a room and an access code, easy peasie. I grew up around Rabbit Creek and spent main afternoons down at Bird Creek fishing with my dad. It was good to spend time there again I could see the mountains across the inlet from my room. Although the th motel is close to the main highway, the room was very quiet. There are lots of near buy hiking trails as well as a gas station with convenience items. Definitely on my "return to" list.
