“We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

“Easy to find and easy to park. Lovely helpful staff. This is a huge pub with a night access door which saves having to keep going through the pub. Plenty of outside tables. Comfortable clean room, but no air con. Everything you need with enough plugs including by the bed. The quilt was very heavy and the room was very warm, so it would be good to have a choice of bedding. Our room was at the front on the first floor and was quite noisy. “Great location to stay”

“While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time.”

“The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. “Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal, originella och fint inredda rum. Fina lyxiga produkter i badrummet gav ett extra plus. Crewkerne kändes för oss som en söt dold pärla mitt i Somerset. Det är lite genomfartstrafik precis utanför hotellet men inget som störde oss, då vårt fönster vette mot den charmiga innergården. Billig parkering finns 5 min promenad bort. Frukosten är enkel och klassisk - du beställer från en meny - men äggröran otroligt god! Tänk på att det inte finns hiss, så packa...
