Not ideal for people with limited mobility, but we enjoyed ducking under low lintels and walking over uneven floors, some of which have been around for several centuries. “Check-in and out were quick and friendly. The staff were busy but always pleasant and willing to help. My dinner was OK and breakfast excellent. The room was clean, my mattress a little lumpy and a fan would have been useful during the unusual heat wave. Overall I would definitely recommend the White Horse to any visitor.”
