“The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks.”

“A lovely establishment & beautiful setting Unfortunately there is renovation work at present & it spoilt our stay, there was a small temporary gym We had a lovely room over looking the golf course, but the workmen were parked directly outside our balcony giving us no privacy at all, we had to keep the curtains pulled which was a shame.. They arrived at 6.30am & the noise woke us up each morning. I dont think these rooms should be used whilst such work is going on.”
