Vacations Close To Scape Park

I love how clean the hotel was, all the staff was excellent, the people on the swim -up bar was excellent at the buffet everyone was very pleasant.

The room was always very clean. The swim-up pool was beautiful. I would recommend this resort for honeymooners. Amber from Guest Services was awesome and Willmary from Room service made our stay exceptional.

Overall, the stay met expectations but definitely did not exceed them. Hotel: The kids enjoyed it — there are plenty of kid-friendly facilities: pools, a small water park, beach sand play, a kids club, night shows, and a play area in the restaurant. Staff service quality varied a lot — some were passionate, while others had a long face all day. I am usually fairly generous with gratuity, but not this time. The place looks pretty and has plenty of activities and photo spots, but if you look closer, the building infrastructure and facilities are low quality. Food varied too: the steakhouse and Italian restaurant were good, the Mexican restaurant was okay, but the buffet was below expectations. The sea was full of seaweed during our stay, unfortunately. Mosquitoes were severe (staff said it had never happened before). We stayed in a quiet seafront suite, but one night a wedding party on the beach lasted until 11 PM, which affected the kids' sleep. Overall, I would not recommend it over Cancun hotels at the same price — we have been to Cancun three times. Airport transport: Worst experience ever. The company is Talixo. For the trip from the airport, the driver was 30+ minutes late. For the return trip, the AC was broken for the back seats (while working in the driver's seat), and there was a hitchhiker in our privately reserved van. Unbelievable.

$500 hold explained at check-in—$19,000 USD showing as pending At the front desk, I was told there would only be a $500 hold on my debit card. Instead, my bank account shows a pending transaction for $19,000 USD. To be clear, the transaction is still pending, not a finalized charge. However, the difference between what I was told and what appears on my account is extremely concerning, especially because I used a debit card. I expect management to explain this discrepancy and promptly correct the authorization. Guests should be able to trust the amount they are told before handing over their card. I will update this review once the issue is resolved.

The staff was incredibly kind, always helpful and ready to assist.

This hotel is fine for anyone on a tight budget. It is a good price but the food. alcohol and rooms are subpar. Parts of the hotel didn't seem clean like the gym and I think it needs to be remodeled in some areas. The steak house was good. The spanish and italian restaurants were just ok.

Lovely hotel.
