“We stayed overnight at this motel in Pleasant Bay. It enjoys a fantastic location surrounded by mountains, right on Cabot Trail. The grounds are lush and well-maintained, and there is an on-site restaurant, which is very convenient. That said, the room felt quite dated. The interior is dimly lit, and there was a noticeable odour inside the room, especially strong on the bedding. “Aweful, checked in and went to room, room very dirty, husband lifted mattress to check for bugs found dirty clothes and we think a smoking apparatus for drugs ?? Changed rooms ans next room smelt better, and we were stuck for room. But bed was broken , tv didn't work, and bathroom had mold , didn't sleep all night , they did replace tv. Not recommended at all”
