Convenient location to the ferry. We arrived late and they were very accommodating. The room was large, the beds comfortable but low water pressure when trying to shower. But we’d stay again just because of the location.

Pros - the bed was clean and comfortable. The location was great with parking. Cons - the room itself was very dated, the carpets dirty and the bathroom tub/shower dirty and unusable. There was no smoke/carbon monoxide detector. Luckily this was a one night stop.

We had a two bedroom cabin. A few mismatched glasses plates and silverware. The plastic window curtains need cleaning. The fridge freezer was not useable because it needs to be defrosted. The beds were clean and comfortable. The cabins and grounds are older and quite run down. Despite all of this we were satisfied for what we needed. Cleanliness is important

Everything about our experience here was great. The room was clean, front desk people were friendly. The room was like having your own little 2 bedroom apartment, with a kitchen and living room. Will definitely look into staying her again when ever we come to a show at the Decoste Centre.

This place should be shut down. Expedia shouldn't list it. I walked into the reception area to check in and the air reeked. It was unimaginable foul. I asked the guy working there to show me the room before I paid given the horrible, filthy reception area. He showed me a room that was filthy and reeked of mildew. I asked if he had an alternative and he showed me their "best room." Thanks to an operating air conditioner this room didn't smell as bad as the first. Since I was exhausted from a long day of driving, I decided to pay an additional $60 Canadian to stay. I was also afraid that this guy would use my credit info that he had and charge me if I didn't stay. I figured I would only be there a few hours to sleep before catching a ferry. Maybe I should have slept in my car. The showers had mildew. The entry was rotted. Spider webs were in every corner. When I pulled the comforter off the bed, I discovered trapped moths. No hair dryer. No bath mat. I had to ask for a glass to drink out of and was given a cardboard coffee cup. The bed wasn't made incorrectly - sheets were not tucked in at corners. No controls for turning the air conditioner off. And if I had I bet I would have smelled mildew again. Electric switches were grubby. I couldn't get out of this place fast enough in the morning. If Expedia is reading this - you need to remove this hotel for available options in Pictou. You don't want to be associated with such a vile place.

This is an excellent budget hotel. We were surprised to find a kitchenette and used it. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. It also had a new heat pump ac.

Room nice with 2 double beds, bathroom small but very clean. Kitchenette a bit underwhelming but we didnt use. its a great location to enjoy Pictou and the waterfront as short, easy drive. Had issues turning on tv but didnt really need it. Would stay there again, like having outside access to room.
