There was a coffee machine that made delicious French vanillas in the lobby area, the breakfast was hot and freshly (serve yourself style) and the entire visit was very relaxed and pleasant. We truly enjoyed our time!

We were only able to get two single beds, which was a bit of a disappointment, in the room had a funny smell, which seemed to be in the carpet. On the positive side, the beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate and as expected.

We couldn't find a hotel in Halifax or the surrounding area. We saw availability at the Slumber Inn and booked it, even though it was an hour away. It was so clean, newly renovated and super comfortable beds. I'm glad we lucked out in finding this Gem in New Minas. Would recommend this location to everyone. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
