The couple who runs this place have done a great job! Though the furniture was old, the bathrooms were renovated and the place was kept spotless. By far the cleanest place we've stayed our entire trip.

This motel was a gem to find. Great location if you like to fish, and a convenient base for exploring other Cape Breton destinations. The owner was fantastic - helpful and polite. They even let us check in early. The rooms were very clean, with modern décor, and the coffee they provided was excellent. I plan on staying here again the next time we’re back in Cape Breton.

This is an older small hotel that is run by a very nice couple. The room were renovated and clean, plus the beds and pillows are very comfy. Every room has a view of the river, which is nice. We were doing the Cabot trail and this met our needs. The breakfast was very good at the on site restaurant (they serve breakfast only), but there are a few other places to eat close by that were great.

Loved our stay here! It was a clean, updated room and the staff let us know everything we needed to know. The view of the bay and bridge is beautiful. We got to watch the meteor shower outside our room. Free tea and coffee. Breakfast is available and is yummy!
