“Good sized room, all the usual facilities in working order. Helpful staff, good breakfast provided within the room price.”

“The room was big with a well stocked tea tray. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a buffet style hot selection at the weekend and made to order hot choices weekday. The staff were welcoming and friendly.”

“Stayed at this hotel once before but there will not be a third time. Check in staff was not helpful when asked about disabled parking. The car park is a fair walk from the hotel which only has 2 spaces for the whole place which was full. She finally reluctantly let us park out side the building and due to a wedding said she would make a note for other staff to be aware. “Beautiful hotel in areas but if you’re planning to stay here with a baby or you are a wheelchair user I’d maybe think again! This hotel is not accessible at all, it’s quite old so has narrow corridors, lots of heavy doors that are shut between corridors & we were put in a room that had no lift access & was at top of a narrow steep staircase - it was completely impossible to get to with a baby & pram! We had to ask to change rooms and the staff on reception weren’t apologetic or friendly at all!...
