“Great little find, staff were super helpful. There was parking at the hotel, albeit only a few spaces, room was quiet and clean.
I can’t believe it was so cheap for one night and in a great location for Shrewsbury, only a 10 min walk over the bridge.
I would say the bed wasn’t super comfortable and the pillows were not to my liking. Due to the hot weather the room wasn’t that well ventilated but a fan was provided which was welcome. I feel these are only minor and my preferences rather than...

“The staff were fabulous, both leading up to our stay when they helped me with some surprises for my friend, and during our stay when nothing was too much trouble!
I was able to order an extra package of fizz and flowers, which were placed in one of our rooms upon arrival, together with the banner that I sent ahead. THANKS”

“This is exactly the sort of experience I seek when visiting the UK. It's an "only in England" experience. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left I was absolutely enraptured. The proprietors ran out to greet me to show me a better, safer place to park my motorcycle. They checked me in, showed me to my room, and have me the rundown on local dining options.
