Lovely hotel in well kept grounds which are a pleasure to walk around and sit in having a nice drink. Spa excellent and staff pleasant and friendly. food: evening meal and breakfast very good with plenty of choice from menu. Easy walk into centre of llangollen town alongside the river.

We had a lovely last minute stay at the wild pheasant hotel. No complaints other than that the rooms are incredibly warm. We brought our own fan as previous reviews stated the same. Room was clean and the bed was comfy.

The fact that the bedding was soiled was an absolute disgrace. The bed was very uncomfortable and the lack of plug sockets, especially next to the bed caused an issue as my husband has sleep apnea and requires a cpap machine to sleep

Well maintained grounds and reception area. Disappointed with our room. Although near and clean, the bed linen did not fit comfortably. The bed sheet was a flat sheet which did not tuck firmly under mattress. It was too small for a double bed, pillowcases too big for pillows. In the bathroom, the toilet role holder is fixed to the wall directly opposite the toilet bowel. Your arms would have to be at least a metre and a half long to reach it. Very disappointing indeed.

Pleasant stay with family and dog

Beautiful hotel and spa in a great location; rooms are very clean and spacious and dog-friendly 10 minutes walk into town. Nice bar and restaurant. Only issues: I feel £30 a night for your dog is a bit high, compared to other hotels.
