“The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy. The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. “Parking was good and it’s a really nice little village, the accommodation was fairly clean but tired, the same can be said of the bar and restaurant areas. Not much chance of getting any sleep before about 11.30 pm due to drinkers in the outside area being very noisy. For the price it is okay.”
