“Habíamos estado en otros Marriott y fue una gran experiencia, aquí no te atienden bien, el hotel es un laberinto, y nadie te explica por dónde ir, ni te ayudan con las maletas, tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiaran de cuarto,las alfombras no son cómodas para llevar las maletas, el personal del bar grosero, solo tienen Pepsi y como no queríamos se burlaron de nosotros pensando que no los entenderíamos. Decepcionada de haber elegido este hotel”

“One the most beautiful hotels that I have been, a real medieval castle in the middle of nowere, with al the 21th century facilities. Amazing!!!”

“Stayed here before a university move in. I got a complimentary upgrade in room so that I could be near the second rom so had robe and slippers for spa. Comfortable spacious room. Spa very nice but in the morning steam room broken and jacuzzi cold. Gym big with lots of equipment Breakfast excellent. Parking cheaper if you book in advance. Easy walk into town”

“Castle itself is great. The annexe rooms are very small, basic. Bathroom again is tiny and cramped. Its a shower /bath which if mobility issues would be hard to get in and out. Shower ran at lukewarm . Would be better to rip out and install standing walking shower. Rooms all need a full refurb.”

“A comfortable stay in a clean, basic room. I was dropping my kid off at Durham, and needed an affordable, nearby place. This came up on an Expedia search. About 30min away from her college, and we took the opportunity to drive 5 min down to Horden Beach for a walk, which is lovely. We checked in at the bar, which was busy. They were not serving food, but encouraged us to get takeaway (there's a Chinese chippy next door) and provided us plates and cutlery. Their drinks are inexpensive. The...
