“The food was absolutely top notch, dinner was amazing. Sadly the room, bathroom could most definitely need a complete renovation. The pool, has the lining coming loose, and the jacuzzi had too many chemicals in,and the handrail looks as if it has not been cleaned for ages. Staff were all very pleasant and extremely efficient.”

“Nice b&b with nice view. Affordable and the staff were friendly :)”

“Beautiful location in a traditional thatched cottage village. Full of character with two cosy fireplaces. The staff were beyond kind and super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. First class cuisine from chef Nico, with great range of spirits including many local brands.”

“Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.”

“Welcome was great with a cup of tea. Very friendly. Beautiful quiet, rural farm setting. Pet friendly. Totally suited our needs with easy access to Barnstaple, Instow, RHS Rosemoor.”

There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

“Will be interested to go back in a few years when they have made progress with the garden”
