The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that.
