The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space. The on site pub was really nice and cosy with some board games which was nice to spend a relaxing evening playing. “Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

“Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent, the evening meal also. The staff at the hotel made the trip, they were so nice, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Beautiful setting was nice to have a drink by the river in the evening after a day of exploring.”
