“A very tired, once charming hotel. In my “deluxe suite” the Roman blind was broken and the room generally had clearly not been decorated for some time. Breakfast was appealing. The choice was exceptionally limited and of poor quality. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast on the disk rat morning. “Funny story, spotted hotel was for 18+ but hadn’t clocked it’s largely targeting ‘seniors.’ So my wife and I booked to celebrate our 15year anniversary, I’m 41, she’s 39 so considerably younger than almost everyone else there. That said, still really enjoyed it. Excellent entertainment (80’s band). Nice grounds, very nicely furnished and decorated hotel throughout. We opted for half board, there is an al a cart option but no vacancies so we tried the buffet diner which was average at best....

“Spacious room. The bathroom was also spacious with a good walk in shower. The meal we had in the restaurant was very nice and breakfast (you need to order the night before) was also very good.”
