“We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). “The staff were exceptionally helpful. The food was excellent. The Lodge itself where you stay needs some tlc on the outside, although the rooms themselves were good and well maintained, if a little dated. The stairs down to the room where I was weren't that great and the entrance to the steps was blocked by a car, so had to squeeze by. A great place. The golf looked good and the swimming pool was excellent although the stairs down were very slippery.”
