Much bigger then I first thought unfortunately due to weather we didn’t get chance to use the outdoor facilities but the indoor swimming pool was excellent shame the sauna wasn’t working. We had breakfast in the mornings which was excellent, good choose and very helpful staff highly recommended

Very underwhelmed by our stay. We had room 122 for 4 nights. Bed was terrible - old and sunken, really uncomfortable. Battled spiders nightly. The worst was the shower - understanding that the hotel is really old and plumbing is tricky- we had zero water pressure unless the water was scorching hot. Like burn your skin hot. We notified the front desk but that was as far as it went. Thankfully the weather wasn’t hot - no fans or much air circulation with the small windows. The staff was friendly, the grounds gorgeous, the hotel itself is lovely and lots of old English charm. Unfortunately for the price, it was quite an uncomfortable let down. We never ate at the restaurant or pub… Highlight was meeting the hotel cat, Jack. He’s a sweetie.

Everywhere in the hotel was absolutely spotless,staff were attentive,polite and very friendly. Food was lovely ,can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it,but talking to others it was fabulous! Would also like to highly recommend a massage with Heather..she fixed my achey joints like never before! Thankyou all for a fabulous 3 day break,we will be back for sure xx

The room was clean, pleasant and windows you could open! The beds were very comfy. We enjoyed our small evening snack, breakfast and lunch dishes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the pool and sauna. They don't have a jacuzzi but a refreshing jacuzzi type cool pool to use after the sauna. We loved the calm and Monet-esque gardens and look forward to our next visit when the outdoor pool and flowers are out.

So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit

It’s a lovely hotel and a very peaceful place to stay in a beautiful setting. The room was so nice with a beautiful view of the gardens from it, and the bed was very comfortable as well. We used the sauna and in door pool which was nice and relaxing. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely hotel. It’s full of character and charm too :) We enjoyed our relaxing break away from home very much.

We had a one night family birthday treat for my husband. 2 teenagers and a dog were perfectly catered for. We had 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor with private access outdoors. The hotel had really thought about our accommodation. The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Staying at the Passford Hotel is a bit like travelling back in time. The hotel has been around for a bit has a comfy ‘lived in’ vibe. Old fashioned even. Having said that the staff are some of the nicest and most professional we’ve met. The room was pleasant enough. Could have done with an update to be honest. Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were hard enough to affect my sleep on our first night but were replaced. The toilet blocked but was fixed quickly. Passford Hotel is a lovely place to stay, right in the heart of the New Forest. Is just a bit past its prime but worth a stay all the same.

bed was comfortable ,room space was good , shower no hot water even after running for some time ! on checking out the reception lady wasn't interested ,she offered to look at it , we where checking out ! her attuited was very poor ! didn't even offer any compensation , just said its an old building and the water takes time ,never knew that on check in ! shame this person spoil the hotel experience ,as all other staff where really good . food is priced very high ! very sad when you spent over £500 for one night ,still she knows best

Good proximity to Brockenhurst and Lynhurst. Leisure facilities and gardens are very good and staff are helpful. However the hotel rooms needs updating and refurbishing. The restaurant food in the evening is very mediocre eg oven cooked fish and chips. The staff obliged us in changing rooms as above was a very noisy corridor or guest ?? however we were changed to an equally noisy room over kitchen by reception staff. For these reasons we would not return.

Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. My single room was nicely spacious.

Lovely old Hotel in beautiful location and amazing gardens and a really nice outdoor pool. I got a really good deal on my room and the evening meal was really good and not to expensive, overall I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.
