“Kleine, aber vollkommen ausreichende Unterkunft für ein paar Tage. Das Frühstück musste am Vortag bestellt werden und wurde dann morgens pünktlich frisch zubereitet, super Auswahl mit English Breakfast, Porridge, etc.”

“A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...

“Parking on site. Very comfortable apartment. Excellent pub, The Ashcott Inn, 4 mins walk away, lovely meal with Thai influences.”

“It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.”

“Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied.”

“Clean room, with air conditioning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the set Tuesday special menu meal which was very nice and the breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay there again.”
