“Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night.”

“Checked into Room one, nice view over quay but as soon as I lay on bed headboard collapsed, went to have shower and shower not working, was allowed to use bathroom down the hall but not ideal. No remote for TV so couldn’t use that either. Wanted to say good stay but very poor.”

“Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!”

“The bathroom was small and dirty with mould growing up the pipes behind the wc. The w.c. was filthy in the bowl. The stairs leading to the room - the Stour Room - were dusty with bitts all over The property looks lovely outside but i would not recommend it to anyone and i think you should visit this inn urgently. ”

“Loved the pub experience. We have stayed in Bury before. Walking downtown to farmers markets on Saturday is awesome. Many pubs and restaurants in town The brewery at pub was excellent and I had a pint there to end my day. The breakfast was awesome every morning. Recommend staying at pubs the staff make everything perfect”
