“Very poor start, got there to see loads of Pay to Park signs.
It's at the end of a lane in the middle of nowhere and carpark is in poor condition with large potholes.
Staff were friendly, room was ok, great pressure in shower but sadly breakfast was a disappointment, child portions, only one staff member (very friendly) but not able to keep things replenished.
Overall, stay was ok but I wouldn't return.”

“The accommodation, though clean, is very tired. The leatherette headboard was worn and needed replacing. The television reception was poor with no signal at times. The bathroom suite was old with mildew around the bath.
The restaurant and bar were comfortable and traditional. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem changing the chicken curry brought to the table for the vegetarian one I actually ordered! The new menu is not an improvement and we wouldn't eat in again. I...
