“Lo disfruté mucho, económico, cómodo y muy cerca del centro y lo más importante de Birmingham”

“Room was cold heating not working. Was a portable heater in room. Carpet was absolutely filthy. Chair was ripped. Bathroom was clean”

“A cheap and cheerful night on the outskirts of Derby. The hotel is rather hidden away and not well signposted. I checked in, room was clean with tea/coffee available. The rooms are single storey, bungalow style There is parking right outside of the rooms”

“Excellent option and service.”

“(October 2026, on a Monday) At the time best price in 100(!) miles radius. En-suite enclosed parking included heating on as centre location lot of good amenities around....all surprise Not for wheelchair user.”

“Family friendly and clean room”

“I travel often to Wolverhampton and had heard that the Hotel was not good; anyway, I decided to give it a go. The bedroom by itself is not bad; the building is not new, and it is outdated ( corridors, stairs, carpet, paint). Not offering breakfast does not give any extra points, but I saw advertised in the Hotel that they will have breakfast soon, and the bar by the entry is fully refurbished and looks good. “For the price they should have done better”

“Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again”

“Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”

“Good”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

“Avoid booking this apartment at all cost. Wanted me to transfer money into unsolicited bank account as deposit. Refused to take payment by credit card offering no protection for me as consumer. Wouldn't allow me access to the property and kept my money. I'm surprised Expedia allow unscrupulous operators like this in the platform.”
