“Very clean, modern and well maintained. Good central location. Would stay here again. Recommend ear plugs as the shift work traffic can be noisy.”

“Horrible dirty bed dirty floors sink was blocked the TV was not working the window was broken and no hot water from the sinks wud not Evan out a rat in thair rank”

“Convenient place to stay for a concert at Winter Gardens, clean rooms, and great value”

“Amazing place to stay - rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. Food was delicious, best hotel breakfast. Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome - great place.”

“I misread the directions and ended up at the wrong door but a helpful man on the phone put me right straightaway. The room itself was great - clean and well-kept, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities, good shower and the complimentary breakfast cereal and snacks were a nice touch. I had a very comfortable stay and will choose Winckley again.”

“I booked while I was driving, drove 4 hours, got there with my son at 9 at night, wanted 50 pound cash deposit and didn't have my card to draw out so he told me to go.”

“close to shops and bea”

“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

“Perfect stay”

“The room was clean and the heating was really good. There was no towels in the room and no tea/coffee this was corrected after a conversation. Overall a pleasant stay and I would use again”
