Room was clean but barren. Pool was closed. No welcome gift as advertised. Not a great location.

My stay here was amazing! Wish I had longer day. Definitely staying here again when next I’m in Mexico!!!

An Exceptional Experience at Ocean Rivera Paradise Resort Our experience at Ocean Rivera Paradise Resort was truly exceptional, and a huge part of what made our stay so memorable was the incredible team. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a level of hospitality that made us feel truly valued. The front desk clerk was wonderful — professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a sincere smile. She immediately created a feeling that we were not simply guests, but truly cared for. Our bellman, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. His attentiveness and friendly personality made every interaction pleasant and effortless. At Blue Moon Restaurant, our waiter, and hostess, stood out for their exceptional service. They were attentive, personable, and genuinely passionate about making every dining experience special. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail were evident, and it was clear that they truly enjoy what they do. The Guest Experience team — Deserves special recognition as well. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate made us feel incredibly blessed throughout our stay. Our massage therapists, provided an experience that was both professional and relaxing. Their skill, care, and attention made the massages great! We left with wonderful memories.

The resort itself was pretty. Restaurants were okay. Our favorite was the tahini dinner that costs extra. The Mexican steakhouse sadly did not know how to cook a steak medium rare. Our steaks were over cooked. After staying at many all-inclusive resorts, I can say that Haven has the best buffet. Some of the staff were nice, but majority at our dinners seemed like they wanted to be there. I was also very disappointed in the beach. I was shocked to see mounds of seaweed in the middle of September when it’s not busy season(even the resort said they are only at 50% capacity). We couldn’t even get in the ocean without stepping through piles of seaweed. I think the hotel gets all the seaweed from Isla mujeres and Cancun hotel zone due to Haven being south of them.
