Vacations Close To Playa Ruinas

First time at a Riu and at Cancun. My family and I had amazing experiences, the hospitality was beyond amazing. The new renovation is beautiful and very comfortable. Being Mexican is 100% an honor, and the entire staff makes sure to embrace it. Food was really good, make sure you’re communicating with the staff and all should be well :) rooms were always clean. I was scared it would be difficult to get transportation but the hotel makes sure you are taken care of ! Thank you so much to everyone <3

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but honestly, my group had fun because of US and the energy we brought, not because the resort provided enough entertainment. The Bash Tower room was nothing special, and I could have just kept the Trendy room. For a resort with this type of reputation, there definitely needs to be more entertainment and activities to keep the energy going. Also, be aware there is a $400 security deposit PER ROOM, which I found ridiculous. I’ve stayed at resorts in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica and never had to pay a security deposit like that. You aren’t just a basic hotel—you’re a resort, so act accordingly. The food was great, and that was definitely one of the highlights. Overall, we made the best of our trip and had a great time together, but as far as the resort itself goes, I’m not sure I would come back.

Es la segunda vez que regresamos a Haven y sin duda no decepcionó. El hotel nos encanta, y el staff es sin duda una maravilla. Atención al huésped es increíble. Pedro en el bar de la alberca vistas es el mejor bar tender. Su atención es inigualable. La playa tiene sargazo pero es imposible luchar contra la madre naturaleza. El hotel de tamaño es ideal y cuenta con una buena variedad de actividades, la comida está muy rica. Super recomendable!!

GR Solaris is a fairly average resort, but the staff helped make our experience special—especially José, the bartender, and Emmanuel, our waiter. Both provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, the property needs some updating, and the food was average at best. The Expedia staff was also excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this would not be one of my top choices. If you’re traveling on a budget, I can understand staying here. However, if you can spend a couple hundred dollars more, I would recommend choosing another resort

Good hotel, we had a big group with 4 rooms so they had a little mix up and did not give our 4th room until we asked again. Asides from that, food was great, staff were helpful to tourists.
