Vacations Close To Dos Ojos Cenote

⭐ 0 Stars— Very Disappointing Experience Our experience was bad from the moment we arrived. We waited about 30 minutes to check in, and the employee only explained hotel rules without even showing us where our room was. Be aware: what Expedia advertises is NOT what you actually get. The listing says guests have access to 12 restaurants, multiple pools and bars, but once there, we were told these amenities require paying about $450 USD EXTRA on top of what we already paid. This is extremely misleading. The customer service was horrible. Most employees seemed unhappy and acted like they didn't want to be there. The property is also in poor condition, with cracks visible throughout, and our room had a strong moldy/musty smell. Many of the activities advertised did not exist, and music was only available for about 4 hours during the day—bring your own speaker if you want entertainment. The food and liquor were, by far, some of the worst we've experienced at an all-inclusive resort. Restaurant reservations were also a disaster. Our group of 9 had a reservation they claimed they couldn't find. They eventually found it, but changed the time, causing us to lose the reservation. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. The Expedia photos and description do NOT represent the reality of this property. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Expedia should seriously review this listing because guests are not getting what is advertised.

The Seadust Cancun was a nice property, and several staff members were very sweet and helpful to us during our stay. We enjoyed many of the restaurants (the Mexican was my favorite but note it is only open for lunch). Our standard room was huge and very clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean even though we didn't pay the extra $600 for an ocean view. The rooms were very cool and at night, the entire inside of the resort was much cooler than during the day. It had a fun club on the 2nd floor that we enjoyed. Elevators worked great and didn't take too long (we were on the 10th floor). What I didn't like was that you were not allowed to have your drink in the pool. Everything was plastic and when you are in the pool just hanging out, it is fun to have a drink but it was NOT allowed. Even keeping your drink on the side of the pool was a no-no. The sargasm was horrible and they did not have it cleaned up on the beach as other hotels did. The sargasm was not the hotel's fault of course, however, there was not a lot of beach front to clean up and it would have been nice if they had. If you sit in a beach chair, note the cabanas obstruct your beach view. There was no beach bar as several videos showed. Other than that, for the price we paid, it was a very nice vacation. We enjoyed the north Cancun beaches that had zero sargasm and loved those days. For the price, we would go here again.

It’s a clean and nice hotel, the only thing we didn’t like a lot was the food options, we traveled with a 3 year old kid and it didn’t have a lot options for him to eat, also you need to know their food schedule cause each restaurant has a different one so that’s kinda weird if you order room service it costs 100mxn pesos around 5.50 usd just be aware of that, the kid loved the little kids area with the waterslides, the snacks by the pool are amazing but once again not to many options, the staff is amazing they helped us with all our needs
