Vacations Close To Xcacel Beach

Lots of pools to choose from. Lots are samey with swim up bars but that was fine. Day time pool games were mostly pretty fun. Getting water for our rooms was difficult sometimes. 3 bottles a day and you had to hunt down staff for more. Water shouldn’t be that difficult. Night time activities near the lobby were a ton of fun some nights. Lots of cool little critters running around. Probably annoying for the staff but we loved them. The spider monkeys in the wildlife area were always a treat. Very clean, absolutely no complaints. For resort food I thought it was fantastic. Even the buffet never disappointed. Coffee bar was great to. Solid 4/5 for our group.

Our anniversary celebration at Kanan Tulum was absolutely magical! The staff went way beyond to make it special, with lovely surprises in our beautifully designed room and an unforgettable dinner at the treetop Nest, surrounded by breathtaking views. The food was excellent, and the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, taking the time to understand our preferences and personalize our dining experience. The unique treetop nests for relaxing and dining make this hotel truly one of a kind. Exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful memories. Thank you, Kanan, for making our stay so memorable!

This place was exactly what I needed! So relaxing, so accommodating, a little slice of heaven! The breakfast buffet and the pool were my favorite part! I would definitely return

Nice rooms. Lots of pools. Good service. Good views. Beach is basic. Most food is ok. Italian restaurant sucked. If you go for the nice rooms and pools you'll like. The night life is mediocre. The beaches have no use other than for laying out or talking walks. Nothing unique about them.

Place was nice but could’ve been kept better. I got probably over 30 mosquito bites because there was a gap in in the window that couldn’t be covered. The water and electric went out middle of the night before check out, and I found out because my cpap turned off and I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. It was raining hard so in order to get to the front desk from my room I had to walk through ankle height water. It could’ve been easily fixed if they put a drain or something. When I got to the front desk soaking wet staff just stared at me and didn’t offer a towel or anything. Basically just said you owe this for stuff from the mini bar. Didn’t help me with my bags either.Couldn’t swim in the cenote too dirty. Food too expensive and im from San Francisco.
