“Very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best one we have stayed in in Scarborough and we have stayed in quite a few! Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return.”

“The bedroom & en suite were very tastefully decorated, with the decor exactly to our taste! The Bella Rose coffee shop was used throughout our stay & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. The 15% discount was used each time we ate there which was a bonus as thought it might be a one-off. Peasholm Park on the doorstep was a huge plus too! My only criticism of our stay was that I made the owners aware that I was allergic to fur & feathers beforehand & I particularly queried any cushions...

“The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable and the shower was brilliant. Super quality fluffy towels in the en suite along with hand soaps, shower gel and shampoo made the stay extremely pleasant. The room we had was on the top floor, which must have been a later addition as the lift only goes to the floor below. The choice of breakfast items is good but the hot items were at best luke warm by the time we went into the dining room at 08.30. I would suggest getting breakfast early while it...

“It was a very good stay. Since we entrence the main door, we felt very welcome for being there. The room was perfect, clean, cozy and with a view that can not be more better. Jo was very hospitable, attentive, and gave us amazing recommendation on what to do there. It was our first time but not the last time. But, we know that we’ll stay for sure in Miricia, again. “Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!”

“The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected.”

“I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me....

“- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”

Cable electrico suelto (parecia conexion de tierra) y lleno de polvo debajo del lavabo. Ascensor averiado afectando a numerosos huespedes con discapacidad y con dificultad para subir escaleras con equipaje. Habia fallado varios dias seguidos. Habitacion muy ruidosa por los nidos de aves marinas en las ventanas. Ruido continuo que interrumpe el sueño. Entra...
