“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”

“Massively overpriced accommodation. It is clean and conveniently located, but staff only seems to be interested in running the downstairs pub/restaurant and you are pretty much on your own from the start to finish if you ever have any issues. I had a room with a balcony, but the balcony was somewhat disappointing. The television is so small that you are lucky even to notice it on the opposite wall.”

“The room, although small was very comfortable with a feeling of space provided by the view. Dinner was very good and the breakfast options were great.
Staff were very natural and friendly. Parking is provided at the back of the property in a quiet free public car park, with access to the hotel just a few steps away.
I would definitely stay here again when next in the area, with no hesitation.”

“My husband and i stayed 2 nights, the hotel was amazing could not fault it everything was just amazing. Would recommend it very highly a hidden gem.
