A fantastic find. Quiet, comfortable, friendly. Just what we needed! Food was excellent and a lovely selection, always tasty and well presented. Will was a star! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food.

Very friendly place with fantastic food and traditional bar area, rooms are a little old fashioned but very comfortable, I would definitely stay again. There's also a carpark to the side so no issues with parking.

Stayed for 1 night, the evening meal was lovely and catered for my gluten intolerance. Breakfast was even better with a real 'full english', all gluten free.

Excellent stay at the Grandy Inn

My husband and i stayed two nights at the Grandy Inn as we were attending a wedding in the area. We loved our stay from start to finish. It was so clean, the food was amazing and all the staff were so friendly. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future.

Enjoyable stay

Had one night at the Granby Inn but it won’t be our last. Very friendly hosts. Lovely spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed. The meal in the restaurant was excellent, excellent service. Breakfast was just as good. Very friendly pub and will visit again.

Short 1-night stay

Lovely Inn for a short 1-night stay. The staff were very accommodating letting us check in early so that we could get ready for a wedding we were attending that day. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also really nice and staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

An enjoyable return visit

As always, very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and evening was excellent, albeit a little highly priced. Comfortable room and good separate walk in shower. Overall good value for money.

Great English pub with rooms

The Granby Inn is a lovely “Old English countryside pub” with a few rooms upstairs. We stayed on a stopover but the countryside around is definitely worth a longer stay. Our room was very big (twin, no 4, at the back) not modern but clean and very comfortable. Good bar and restaurant with good food and service, we will come back and would recommend a stay.

Very Short Stay

Literally only there for 14hrs. Arrive, Wash, Sleep, Early Start, Shower gone. Staff very polite and helpful. Hotel looked great and served its purpose. Many Thanks

Hidden Gem

Little Gem of a discovery while working away in the North east the room was lovely and I was a little worried about the road noise being on the front but not a sound . Staff were all very helpful and the food was amazing . Do Not miss out on the breakfast

Great find. Stayed for work. The room had everything i needed. The host couldnt do enough for me. Made to feel so welcome. Food downstairs in the restaurant was amazing too.

Delicious pub grub

A lovely friendly and welcoming place. Our room had a great fresh and clean smell as we entered and when I requested extra little milk cartons I was asked if I preferred fresh milk - oh yes. The beds were very comfy. Just what we needed. A table was reserved for our evening meal and it didn't disappoint. I hadn't expected the possibility of a roast Sunday dinner on the evening, and it was amazing, delicious and I didn't leave a scrap. My hubby was just as thrilled with his steak and ale pie. Very tasty meal. Couldn't fault it. The wall near the bar had a number of awards and a current one too. Would definitely recommend. The same staff were up the next morning serving breakfast and nothing was any trouble. Everything was well presented and the cooked breakfast was piping hot . A family run pub and I would definitely return
