Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.”

Unbearably hot with windows that only open a crack. Very low sloped ceilings in about half the room (which was already tiny). Okay if you're under 5 foot five. “Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “There were quite a lot of steps outside to climb to get to our room but it was a lovely room once inside with a nice modern shower room.
