“The staff were casual, ill informed and their dress was dreadful. There was no reception, the bar tender looked surprised to have guests at all. I = had been told that the hotel was heavily booked but that we could have a quiet room facing the garden with a shower. However we were given a room facing the main road, with a shower over the bath. There were only two other couples staying, so the hotel was not heavily booked.
