“Was welcomed. Hotel needs a update. New wallpaper, carpets Bathroom had a hair in shower tray. Screen rusty.”

“Clean room slightly smell but slept well and friendly staff, ideal for just getting head down for sleep, didn't recall being told about £5 parking fee. But all good”

“It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.”

“Our booking was not recognised despite correct name and reference. We checked in and then immediately checked out due to issues. No refund provided; Savoy said Expedia must handle it. Missing amenities that were paid for: no lift, no balcony, no sea view. No toilet door, unsafe steps without a handrail leasing to the toilet. TV channels not working. A £100 refund deposit mentioned in small print but not received. Property looks run-down, with outdated photos online. Local drug users loitering in...

“The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We were sadly there as dad was in palliative care..We had flown in from canada, with broken leg, they let us check in early and were very kind. Room was great for accessibility but it did smell a bit musty/damp - but then had wet room so maybe that is why. ”

“Room was small to be an ensuite double room, but it was clean and had basics and toiletries, tv and free wifi. Free parking at the front door. The owner, Darren, was quite nice and helpful. He cooked a nice breakfast every morning, personalized a bit for my continental taste, and listened patiently to my daily adventures. I was on holiday and did tourism across Somerset from there. Good value for the price”
