I was loving this hotel until about 5 pm on day 2 of my stay when we got back from being at the beach for most of the day to discover that housekeeping had not been in our room to collect dirty towels, vacuum, make the bed, or remove the garbage. Worse yet, when I called the front desk to mention it the receptionist acted like I was putting her out. The funny thing is that I was impressed by the positive reviews I read on this place concerning cleanliness before booking. I do enjoy the hotel for the most part and honestly would likely stay here again, but hotels are supposed to be the epitome of the hospitality industry, and getting the response to my complaint that I did certainly did not reflect that. Adding to this review.... We went out for dinner and our room never got touched by housekeeping. Update: I woke up early this morning and started looking through more of the reviews. I notice a LOT of complaints about the front desk staff being combative (which I also experienced) but never any mention in the owner's responses showing any concern about it. This, in my opinion, should be the top and first priority in getting this hotel headed in a better direction. Things are going to happen and I think most people understand that. The job of the receptionist is to reassure guests that these issues will be taken care of with a tone of compassion, not to be standoffish and from what I'm hearing in other reviews, downright rude and aggressive.

Terrible experience. The photos on the website do not match the reality at all. The whole place is very old and outdated, the lobby, the rooms, the furniture, the carpet, and even the gym and pool. I arrived late and stayed one night, then asked to leave early. I booked two nights but they refused to refund the second night. They only responded after several attempts through Expedia and still denied any refund. I paid for two nights and only stayed one. Very disappointing. I will not be back.

Overall, everything was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay. However, I do feel the arrival instructions could have been much more detailed. Clearer directions on how to locate the correct building, where to enter, and what to do once we arrived would have made the check-in process much smoother. My biggest concern was the kitchen sink not draining properly. Considering the amount we paid for our stay, this was definitely disappointing and inconvenient. I contacted maintenance and submitted a service request, but unfortunately, no one came to resolve the issue during our stay. I feel that when guests are paying a premium price, maintenance concerns like this should be addressed in a timely manner. Aside from those issues, we had a nice stay. With clearer arrival instructions and more prompt attention to maintenance requests, the overall experience would have been much better.

Horrible!!! Took our $550 deposit and then told us they had no room for us. Our 25th Anniversary two day stay on the beach turned into… I’m sorry we have no room for you, but we will make sure you get your deposit back in 7-10 days. Books this hotel three months in advance, but they decided to over book their property and we were left to carry the burden. Worst Management ever
