Union Springs Vacations

The place was, frankly, a disgrace. I would skip it, is the best advice I can give. The Hotel was not clean or kept up. I will include pictures because you wouldn't believe if you didn't see it. The bathroom was a wreck, literally. They must not have maintenance there. The towel rack was bent. The toilet seat was loose. The shower rod was ripped out of the wall. the shower valve was loose and leaking as fast as the water coming out of the head. In the picture its only on slightly so it didn't spray all over. The paint was pealing and needed a repaint. The floors were dirty. I was too tired to go search for another room at another hotel, otherwise I would have been gone.

Well why the front desk staff was nice when we first came and greeted us the pool was not available. The breakfast wasn't the best. The bacon was a little burnt and crumpled. The eggs were watery and the pancake maker was stuck on warming. The juice machine was out of order. Our room could use better cleaning the bathroom smell really bad like a plumbing issue. The shower did not work. The tub drain has some damage to it you can see where they tried to fix and cover it. There was a burnt spot in the rug beside one of the beds that look like someone must have smoked in there and it's a no smoking hotel I believe. The pull-out bed is very uncomfortable. The mattress is so thin for anybody to sleep on even a child. It has sharp pieces sticking out that can cut you. My kids got cut multiple times. I did have an issue with checking out late I'm a member but since I did it through third party one person told me it was okay then when it came time for check out the other person was like no but they ended up letting me check out at 1:00. When it was time to leave it wasn't anyone at the front desk so I just left my keys and as I was headed to the door someone came out. I just told her we were checking out and I just kept going and told her my name from across the hallway. I love the Holiday inn I just don't like this one so I will just pick another one.

Stayed one night while traveling. Was a nice, clean hotel with plenty of parking. Breakfast was ok. Very basic but tasted alright.

The room was fine, clean enough. The noise level was too much - I had asked about a quiet room and the front desk attendant put as right next to the elevator across from a room filled with screaming children who continually slammed doors. Front desk staff left mops out while not in use, and the stairwell was FILLED with old mattresses - made me wonder if there was a bed bug issue? I have never had an issue with a La Quinta before, this one made me think twice about staying again.
