“We had a lovely stay whilst visiting wookey hole. Lovely room, it was an ajoining room so great for families. Comfy big bed and great home cooked breakfast. Would defo stay again”

“Great value for an overnight stop over with my family. But the toilet was teeny and no use for a tall person like me! Staff friendly and beds comfy, room a bit tired and no fridge. Good overall experience.”

“The lady in the bar was super friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here. The only thing I would add would be a fan in the bedroom during this hot weather.”

“Rooms clean and well decorated. Those with mobility issuers would find climbing the long flight of stairs to reach rooms very challenging and sloping floors in bedrooms disconcerting.”

“For one night as a pass through to home, it was ok. But we will not be back. Pros- child friendly, suite was a good size, friendly owner. The bed was comfy and there is a Roku to be able to get a lot of channels. Breakfast was decent. Although it’s between 8-9 which was a bit early for us after a long day and then having to go looking for dinner and getting the kids settled. Trying to get them up for breakfast was hard. Cons- dog wee’s on the floor and even when told, it’s not even covered....

“The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended”

“Wonderful property, enjoyable stay overall. Only frustrations were with not getting the set menu or 20% discount at dinner which was only realised after leaving. Breakfast service needs improving as the tea/coffee station was a drag and menus having pricing was confusing. Booked this hotel so I could get a quiet night of sleep in however our room had the ventilation unit outside the window so didn't get the silence I was excited for. “Very convenient for a nights stay. Despite being in a pub it was very quiet. Lovely clean, soft towels and clean sheets . Staff were friendly , easy for dinner and breakfast”
